Used the dematting comb on my golden retriever behind the ears where the mats form. The two-sided design split the mats without pulling — she just lay there.

I do this professionally and bought this for my sister. The tooth spacing is right — it does not scratch skin like the cheap ones at the big-box stores.
✓ Verified buyerMy cat actually tolerates this
She runs from every tool, but the gloves feel like petting to her. Fifteen minutes a night and the matting behind her ears is gone.
✓ Verified buyerWell built for the price
Stainless teeth, no rust after three months of baths and brush-outs. My old plastic brush lasted one season before the teeth bent.
